Caught: They Stole my Blog Post
It didn’t take me long to notice this — somebody posted my How to improve Wordpress SEO article on their site. They did, however, give a credit link back to my site — which is odd to me, since they stole the website content.
Revamping the Website
I’ve been looking for a different template for quite a while now, but I think that I have found something suitable – at least something that I am willing to try out.
Massive Website Updates
I’m going to be doing a massive update to this website… while I would probably like a major overhaul on the design… I’m talking about something different.
I’ve recently reconnected the web-based tools section and the free scripts section of this website, and I’ve also removed Recaptcha from this blog in favor of a more user-friendly solution that came with the default installation of Wordpress, Askimet. I’ve never used Askimet, but I’m hoping I don’t have to spend much time deleting spam comments… Recaptcha cut down blog-spam to only 2-3 per day.
Cutting Out Blog Spam
This website is amongst the heaviest hit in regards to comment spam, at least when considering my personal blogs. The other day I implemented recaptcha on this website to hopefully get to the point where I could allow instant approval of comments here. . . but there’s still an issue with comment spam.
Looking for a Wordpress Template Designer
Firs of all – it’s been nearly 1 year (to the day) since I last updated this blog. It’s deplorable, I know. Funny thing is, for the last 3 months I’ve still been receiving over 500 unique visitors here. . . . it seems like I would have taken advantage of that; sadly, I didn’t. I will be posting here more often starting this month after a 1 year hiatus.
