Make Articles from Article Directories “Unique”
I was just thinking of something today – thinking of a way that I could use free articles in article directories without having to worry (as much) about the duplicate content penalty. At this point in my work, I don’t have a lot of “free time” to sit & write content for all of my different websites and website promotion needs – but I need to update my Wordpress blogs from time to time – and I think I may have thought of a plausible answer.
500 Directory Submissions – Starting at $40
I’ll be running a time-sensitive, limited time offer for directory submissions here in a couple of days. You can see the details on the link building special page.
Massive Website Updates
I’m going to be doing a massive update to this website… while I would probably like a major overhaul on the design… I’m talking about something different.
I’ve recently reconnected the web-based tools section and the free scripts section of this website, and I’ve also removed Recaptcha from this blog in favor of a more user-friendly solution that came with the default installation of Wordpress, Askimet. I’ve never used Askimet, but I’m hoping I don’t have to spend much time deleting spam comments… Recaptcha cut down blog-spam to only 2-3 per day.
Liberal Use of ‘Nofollow’
Over the last several months I’ve become more aware of the importance of the rel=nofollow tag, not only for links to 3rd party websites, but for my own internal linking structure as well.
I actually started testing the “method” of liberal use of the nofollow tag for internal links on my freelance writing website last month, and with the limited time that’s passed since then, I think I’m seeing a positive result.
Effective Article Marketing for SEO
Article marketing is a popular website promotion method that website owners use to boost their websites link popularity, and it’s still somewhat effective. However, as with nearly all automated or semi-automated link building methods…. the effectiveness has declined, at least in part, due to search engines (seemingly) lowering the value of links obtained from “link hubs” such as general web-directories and article directories.
