How to Send a DMCA Takedown Notice
Not too long ago I found out that somebody stole an article from my website. Now, I’m familiar with the process of getting web hosting companies to remove unauthorized content as it should be a regular practice for freelance writers when clients fail to pay, and subsequently use, content. However, while I have a decent amount of experience in getting stolen content removed from websites, not everybody does.
Caught: They Stole my Blog Post
It didn’t take me long to notice this — somebody posted my How to improve Wordpress SEO article on their site. They did, however, give a credit link back to my site — which is odd to me, since they stole the website content.
