Keyword Targeting with Domain Names
While this would probably be fitting for my series about improving your search engine rankings, it’s a bit out of order. In any case, something that many, many website owners overlook when they are trying to improve their search engine rankings is the power that redirecting keyword-focused domain names have for their website.
File Storage with Google Mail
Because of the number of times I’ve lost everything on my hard drive, whether it was due to an OS failure or a hard drive failure – I’ve learned the importance of backing up my data.
Now, this might not be news to some of you, and I’ve actually read that it was possible before, but you can currently use your Gmail account as a portable hard drive. Basically, you install a small program (Gmail Drive Shell Extension) and then an icon shows up under MyComputer for your “Gmail Drive”.
Google and Paid Links
Inbound links are pretty important for websites that hope to rank well in the SERPs (search engine results pages) and links from “authority” websites or so-called high ranking websites give more bang for the buck, so to speak. Taking that into consideration, it’s no wonder that website owners are clamoring about Google’s decision, and subsequent actions, that are clearly making their long-standing policies against paid linking known.
Free adwords formatter / keyword compiler tool
I wrote this script over a year ago with ideas of releasing it to the public, but never did. Basically what this keyword tool does it will wrap your keywords & keyword phrases in quotation marks & brackets for use with Google Adwords PPC advertising.
However, it’s much more than a simple wrapper for keywords and keyword phrases: It will reverse keywords, skip spaces, remove all spaces while wrapping the keywords in quotation marks & even allows you to add suffixes onto keywords for more combonations.
