Update on Logo Angel’s Free Logo Offer
I’ve decided to change the tune of my review as I heard back from the company here last week and thought it would be nice to give a complete and in my opinion, accurate portrayal of the overall service from Logo Angel.
I’ve removed some parts of my follow-up review because it’s possible that I was a bit too harsh. However, what I said was truthful – but at the end of the day I just decided to change things up a bit. But – you can see a screen capture of the old post before my recent changes here. So, if you’re curious about what I wrote before, be sure that you check out the Logo Angel review image.
New Logo
The new logo is much better than the first logo that they created for me. While I did end up creating my own logo as an example template to show them what I wanted, they modified the logo and I was well-pleased with the end result.
Here’s the new logo from Logo Angel:
As you can see, it’s quite an improvement over the former.
Overall thoughts with my Logo Angel experience
Now that the transaction has completed and the issues and miscommunications have been resolved, I will say it was a moderately positive experience. That’s moderately with some moderation involved. Yes – there were challenges but they did end up getting worked through. In the end I received a logo that I will use, and while I could certainly take the time to learn how to edit a pre-made template, this logo they created for me saved me some time – and that’s the point.
It seems to me that Logo Angel hasn’t had a lot of business experience, or they just had a bad couple of weeks during my transaction. I’m not meaning this in a bad way at all – I’m just saying that some aspects of the transaction were inappropriate (i.e. unprofessional), but that only happened in two instances – the majority of our communications were pleasant (meaning friendly in this instance) & professional.
Would I recommend Logo Angel as a logo design company?
Overall – maybe. I can’t give them an emphatic endorsement because I did have some issues, but I think that for most website owners, Logo Angel would be a feasible option. And, their service was fairly fast – turnaround for the initial logo was about 24 hours, but I can’t really gauge on the second logo (revision) because apparently they took a break at that point & it took a few days to hear back from them.
So, if you’re looking for logo design for your website, you should at least check out the Logo Angel website and see what they have to offer. I can’t make any guarantees, but I think that the majority of people would have at least a reasonably positive experience with this logo/graphic design company.
